Shabu Tatsu in The East Village – NYC

After the shoot wrap we went to Shabu Tatsu in the East Village for dinner where we had Shabu Shabu, literally translated as Swish, Swish, a japanese style of dining where a pot of boiling dashi is used to swish pieces of thinly sliced meat and vegetables. Once the meat and vegetables are eaten a broth is left that is served as soup. Its a must try for anyone.

The restaurant is part of an asian chain of restaurants owned by T.I.C Group which also includes Rai Rai Ken (ramen noodles) and Sakebar Decibel – a sake bar also in the east village.
