In between tremors and after-shocks tomorrow, I will be checking out the new Smorgasburg at The Brooklyn Flea. Binging on amazing food brought to us by local vendors is a great way to spend “The End of Days”. This saturday features some top chefs cooking some amazing creations – Liza Queen, Casey and Gilley Tang, Alex Raij, John Husby, Cecile Dyer (from Pies ‘N’ Thighs), Tin Dizdarevic, and Justin Bazdarich just to name a few. No worries if you can’t make it tomorrow, this event will be going on every saturday for the summer, although it is hard to say if all this talent will be there past the grand opening tomorrow.
check it out here.

I spoke about the Food Truck Rally at Grand Army Plaza on Sunday, but here is the information once again
Taste of Tribeca® was founded in 1994 by the parents of children in Tribeca’s two public elementary schools, PS 150 and PS 234, in cooperation with Tribeca’s dedicated businesses. They created this fundraiser as a way to showcase their very special neighborhood and pay for the much needed arts and enrichment programs at their childrens’ schools. More Here
