They say at the restaurant “All’s Well at M.Wells”. And its true. Aside from the slightly sophisticated take on diner cuisine, the atmosphere of this narrow eatery which overlooks the looming skyscrapers of manhattan, is the casual and relaxed vibe that exudes from a place that can put a plate of hot dogs, smothered in cheese sauce and runny eggs on your table without a even the faintest smirk. Because you know even though it looks like slop at a slop-house, the taste cannot be beat. The french-canadian chef looks like he is having the best time of all. He may have been slightly drunk and definitely a very generous and happy man, walking around pouring glasses of wine and samples of Pastis with seltzer. I like M.Wells and I cannot wait to go back to see what happens next.
